For several months, a grating has been missing from a kerbside drain on the north side of the A40 in line with the Vauxhall car dealer in Piddington. A traffic cone has been placed in the hole but it is still hazardous and needs to be repaired properly.

There are a number of deep potholes in the carriageway. Even where there are no potholes the surface is disgraceful. I cycled it yesterday and had to continually swerve to avoid hitting holes, this puts me in danger from other road users. This surface will be responsible for a serious accident before long. The road is not fit for purpose.
